Blood Slayer
Blood Krystilia's Wilderness boss tasks, the points they pay, and the only real source of Slayer experience.
Blood Slayer is this server's slayer track, and it is a boss track rather than a monster one. Every task it hands out is fought above the ditch.
Blood Krystilia
She stands at the Wilderness ditch in Edgeville, and she is not attackable. Her right-click carries Assignment and Rewards.
An assignment is a kill count against one Wilderness subject: the roaming blood revenants, or one of the Wilderness bosses that is currently live. Kills only count in the Wilderness, and only against what she named.
What a task pays
- Blood slayer points, into a pool that persists on your account and is spent at her Rewards option.
- A streak. Completing tasks back to back grows it, and it pays milestone bonuses at the rungs.
- Slayer experience, paid a kill at a time out of a budget set by the boss's tier. She is in practice the only route to a Slayer level on this server, so the ladder is tuned to a tasks-to-99 figure rather than a per-kill one.
- More blood money per kill. The same boss pays better on task than off it, and a deferred payer carries the on-task answer from the kill that earned it.
The track is completely separate from anything else: it has its own task slot and its own points, and it never touches an ordinary assignment.
The rewards counter
Her Rewards option opens the real Old School rewards screen with our own perks on it, and the shop behind it:
| Icon | Item | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Slayer mystery box | 90 Blood slayer points | |
| Blood key | 265 Blood slayer points | |
| Blood casket | 800 Blood slayer points | |
| Slayer helmet | 500 Blood slayer points | |
| Slayer helmet (i) | 500 Blood slayer points | |
| Salve amulet(ei) | 300 Blood slayer points | |
| Blood slayer helmet (i) | 3,000 Blood slayer points | |
| Slayer ring (eternal) | 2,500 Blood slayer points | |
| Fishing explosive | 0 Blood slayer points | |
| Mirror shield | 0 Blood slayer points |
The mirror shield is free there, which matters because it is the whole fight against the Basilisk Knights, and the jaw they drop builds the Neitiznot faceguard.
Where to start
The revenant task is the gentlest: forty of them roam above level 30, they are worth blood money on their own, and the deep half of their table only drops up there. After that, the Wilderness bosses guide is the ladder in the order it is worth climbing.
